Dear Mike,
It is very hard to put into words, how much I love you and how incredible you are.
We have gone through heartache, living far apart, jobs, moves, car accidents, being flat broke, school and learning to become adults together. Even though these past 4 1/2 years have been hard, what we are going through is one of the most challenging things I can imagine.
I am thankful for love, health and happiness. We are blessed to be alive, have each other, have supportive people in our lives as well as being free of sickness/disease.
Someone up there was looking out for me when they pointed me in your direction. When we first started, I was in such a bad place. It's been quite the adventure moulding our lives together and learning each others quirks.
I can honestly say I love you even more than I did years ago. I still look forward to you coming home, still miss you when we are apart, and still get excited to be with you. You are my best friend. The best part about you is the time we can spend doing nothing but laughing. No tv, no anything- just us, on a couch, sharing stories.
You have listened to every single crazy thought of mine. You have sat there through the tears and nonsense rambling about life and our struggle.
I cannot thank you enough for your encouragement, support and above all- love. You are the one who pushes me to keep myself afloat and to be positive.
No other man would be this involved, know all the info and be this in-tune with what I need.
You're the most amazing man and I am so fortunate to have you.
I can't wait to make you a dad, and hopefully someday a husband.
to the moon & back,
xo
